no idea if I found the ending satisfying or not, still really like the concept but also feel like there could have been so much... more...
The previous two books in the series set up this addition for an amazing finale, however, I found the ending to be lackluster. Without giving too much away, I thought the conclusion was a cop out and didn't actually fix the problems in the way I expected or wanted. It is just my opinion but this series should have ended far differently. If not for the last 30 pages this book would have been starred much higher for me
A satisfying well thought out end to the series. This one is sadder than the average YA series, but felt more real as a result. I wish there were more heroines like Kelsea. I also wish there were more books that focused on history and how it shapes the dystopia world in these books. Plus the forward motion of the plotting is a lot of fun, and doesn't rely on only one story to push the book forward.
I’m... dissatisfied. The ending works, in that it is one way to end the story; it’s okay, but not satisfying to me. I’m left with a bad taste in my mouth. The characters have grown and changed, but I feel like some are opposites of what they were growing towards. This book also took me more than a week to finish when the first two each took a couple days, if that says anything.
The time jumps and cross-characters were a bit confusing but I really enjoyed the ending. It's something that's been tried before and not necessarily pulled off, so I was happy to see a different twist on it.
Written so well. What a journey. Last chapter, shredded me!!!! Then that last sentence!!!! What did it mean!!!!
