i have never been more fucking angry at an ending to a book than i am for this one. why.
Oh my gosh I LOVED it!!! I thought it was a FANTASTIC ending. No easy answers. Man, what's great series. Absolutely loved it.
I read this entire book in one day. I absolutely love this series and these characters, especially Mace and Pen. But I am incredibly disappointed in the ending. I almost regret reading this.
I would have much preferred Kelsea, Mace, Pen and the rest of those in the Keep to have died, instead of Kelsea messi ng with the past and making everything they went through meaningless.

As many others think, the book is spectacular until we reach the last chapter. I could have liked the ending if it was written in another way, but the last chapter is like the author didn't know how to finish the story, made a lot of characters mistakes and lost control of the novel. Apart from that, I really enjoyed it
Reaching the end of this trilogy was hard for me because I wanted to know how the book ends but not the end of the story(If you get what I mean). Either way, this is an amazing book, it is my first recommendation to anyone.
Entertaining!! Enjoyable. The ending was... um... cheap? 😬
It took me a long time to get through this book, and I'm not sure why. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did its predecessors. Also, there were so many questions I still had once I'd finished reading it.
Beautifully written, no doubt, and an intriguing and original concept, but...this one felt a bit slow.

4.5?
so i didnt expect this to be the butterfly effect??
honestly i just kept waiting for something to blow my mind and i think this did? i dont think this was a perfect ending but i definitely need to collect my thoughts on this. because this series seems to be really good an nuance, i feel like the ending was a little (cant think of the word so ill go for) unrealistically optimistic. maybe ill come back to this review when this has sunk in. over all though, i do think this was the weakest installment in the series, since i think the first two were damn near perfect!

The origins of the Tearling... we learn it all.
For me that was the best part of this book. It's almost like we had to learn Kelseas story to learn about Lilys, to learn about the Tearling. How these people got there.
I don't like to give spoilers in my reviews... and its really hard not to with this one.
The ending
THE ENDING....
I could use one more book, just one, it could even be a novella.
I can't be the only person who needs a little bit more.
