'Nightwing #5' by Steve Orlando and Tim Seeley brings us part two of "Night of the Monsters."

It's still raining and the monsters are still rampaging all over Gotham. Poor Clayface is running crowd control by breaking himself up in to a crowd of cops. Nightwing gets to play detective, even though he hasn't been that comfortable with it. Even Gotham Girl looks like she's going to be part of this for better or worse. The origin of the monsters comes to light, but Hugo Strange has still not shown himself.

I liked this chapter better than the first one. There are a lot of people in the Batman family these days, and it's good to see them work mostly as a team. I liked the art by Roge Antonio. I look forward to reading part three.

I received a review copy of this issue from DC Entertainment and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this comic book.

Team Bat family vs Team Monster Men ! Round 2!

The second part of the night of Monster Men flies by in a quick pace with Batman dealing with his guilt ridden mind and fighting another monster while Dick is sent out on a Detective mission , something Dick has stated in the past to never being very comfortable at .

The high pace and involvement of nearly every Bat family member makes the whole saga appear as if it's a big movie being played out and it keeps refers thoroughly enjoyed

The stakes are put even higher with the book ending with indications of the Bat family getting more on their plates with riots seemingly initiating and Gotham Girl also deciding to jump into the mess

Fantastic issue looking forward to next week's part 3 of the saga

Didn't really feel like a Nightwing comic. Still very much about Bruce, but with a focus on the team sort of pushing back against his commands.
