I don't like this quite as much as some of the other pigeon books, but it's still pretty fabulous!

Went away from the normal format of the Pigeon books and added a cute little duckling. Miss the reader being part of the story, but still made me laugh.

Pigeon finds a hot dog--as the title suggests--but Duckling has a lot of questions about it. I really like this book with its humor and cheeky attitude. It's definitely one of the better Pigeon books. Funny.
For: readers who love Pigeon; readers needing a book about sharing.
Possible red flags: tantrums and anger.

Sharing is awesome. Also eating food you find just laying around is awesome. Okay, maaaaybe that second bit wasn't necessarily meant to be the take-away lesson for this book. Somehow I doubt this book was actually advocating freeganism. Although that would be really awesome if it did. Now I'm kind of curious if there are books about being freegan for children. There have to be somewhere. There are books for everything.
