It has been quite a roller coaster ride with Conrad, Belly & Jeremiah. I loved how this book ended despite the first two being a little rocky. I again found the flashbacks a little hard to follow just in the past two books but was happy to see a few things come together in this last book. I loved the ending & thought it wrapped up nicely for the 3 of them.

I read this audiobook through my library via Libby.

Brief Summary: Belly is in college and is in love. However, after learning some disturbing information she returns to the only place she has truly felt herself, Cousins. As she tries to understand events and how to move forward, she must also listen to her heart.

Thoughts:  I enjoyed this book a little more than the second one, but I still think the first book in the series is my favourite. I loved Laurel in this book. She is the true hero of the series and I honestly have no notes on her behaviour throughout the book. I would love it if she got her romance novel and got a new chance at love, especially after her children are out of the house.

A testament to Han's writing is that Belly is such a unique form of hot mess that can only happen for someone transitioning into adulthood. In many ways, I identified with Belly as she was trying to navigate a relationship that hit a rough patch, but because I am older I was also yelling at her to listen to her mom and her friends.

Overall, I was happy with the conclusion to this series.

Honestly, this one was so much better than the first two books. Belly seemed a little more mature and not so whiney. It was a little easier to get into.

Jeremiah  actually seems manipulative in this one. And the ending… W T H. I cried. But also, the ending just wasn’t enough. I’m trying not to spoil anything, but nothing else, with Jeremiah’s and Belly’s event being cancelled? Then straight into Belly and Conrad? It was almost disappointing.

I enjoyed this book the most out of the three because I had no preconceived ideas from watching the tv series like i did with the first two books

thoughts while reading
ch 4:
ARE YOU KIDDING ME I LITERALLY STARTED THIS BOOK SAYING THAT YOU BETTER NOT CHEAT ON EACH OTHER AND WHAT DO YOU DO????

ch 11: girlie i really don't think this is a sound decision

ch 24:
this wedding ain't gonna happen. con is totally gonna come along and sweep her off her feet somehow and jere is gonna be ✨mad✨

ch 28:
CONRAD FOR GOODNESS SAKE SHE IS NOT YOUR GIRL IF YOU WANTED HER YOU SHOULDA SPOKE UP YEARS AGO

ch 29: genuinely how are they only inviting 20 people? my guest list is still at least 30 people if I'm incredibly strict,
and that's only my side, let alone my husband's

ch 30:
NOOOO I JUST CAUGHT MYSELF THINKING "aww that's so cute, they're perfect for each other" NO. JUST NO. CON HAD HIS CHANCE AND WE DON'T STAN INFIDELITY

ch 32: boy i really think you need to walk away

ch 37: this is a funny definition of "staying out of it"

ch 38:
I just flipping knew she'd start sprouting feelings again *dramatic eye roll*

ch 46: OH DAMN CONRAD IS GONNA THROW FISTS AT THIS ✨STUNNING✨ REVELATION

ch 47:
to be honest conrad has a point. a point that I've thinking this whole time. belly deserves better than a guy that sleeps with someone immediately after breaking up. i know he's her best friend, but still. and maybe he shouldn't be anymore. maybe they've kinda outgrown each other

ch 47:
OH MY GOSH A CONFESSION!! but realistically can they really get together anyway? jere would never forgive them and the whole family dynamic would go to pot for several years at least
