overall would recommend. i didn’t love some of the writing in part three, i was kinda confusing to follow along with when the professor found out the situation and if he had any ideas he knew in old bow.  but i loved the POV from dianne and grunger (even though i find him icky). i wish they gave a pov from tonya and the grandmom not sure how i feel that she spent her life with two people who weren’t her parents.

Read this for a book club. I made it through the book and was pleasantly surprised by one twist. Due to this, it deserves at least 2.5 stars. I debated on DNFing it because I didn’t enjoy the writing and felt it needed more editing. I didn’t feel attached to any of the characters. There was only a few moments where I felt a light suspense for a character. If I were to suggest a thriller/suspense story, this wouldn’t be the book.
