Just couldn't get into this one, felt very different to her other titles which I loved. May have been the younger protagonists giving it a Y/A vibe or something. Just wasn't feeling that pull to keep going or come back with this one.

I want to preface this by saying that a 3⭐️ rating for me is still good and something I would recommend!

I love this author and her writing but this one I just didn’t connect with as much. The FMC is nothing like me so I found it really difficult to connect to her and her motivations, but could see how other people might. (That’s just a me problem though and does not impact the rating).

The story progressed slowly and I actually predicted every twist but still found it completely engaging. I think I’m really bad at guessing twists in thrillers so the fact that I did guess everything means something. BUT with that being said, this was still a very entertaining read.
