Was enthralled by the first third of it, and then it was so boringggg.

this is a wonderful book for anyone with a healthy hatred of Holden Caulfield-types and a desire to see most men in their life knocked down a peg. The narrator is, and I don't say this lightly, trash-garbage. He's an alcoholic, a sociopath, a misogynist, and paranoid out the ass. He deserves everything he had coming to him and more, and tells his story in a way that makes us want his demise too. We hate him and he hates himself and that's what makes his downfall so delicious. Read this, then go back and reexamine every piece of male-centric fiction you've ever consumed. Then donate to a women's charity, probably.
