If I could give this book a negative star, I would. The author is a self-important blow hard with nothing legitimate to add to the field of personal finance.
In short, a rich dad teaches his child about financial literacy but the poor dad does not feel the need to do so. This one thing makes a big difference between a rich kid and a poor kid in his adult life.

I learned a lot in this book. It changed the way I think about leverage and learned about investments. There might still a lot more great books out there about money handling but I think reading this book is a good start.

This book was more like a solid 3.5 stars. It certainly provided me with food for thought, but to me, was not a "must read" for those studying finance.
