A beautiful, original story that had me hooked from the start and made me wish it wasn't a standalone.

Beautiful!!! It make me thing so much about me, about not giving up, to think positively and to encourage yourself through life instead of putting you down... I loved it!

I remember being obsessed w/this series when it came out. Pleasantly surprised by how well it stands up. I love Nikolai he is so obsessed w his family and Thora. He never forced Thora to make certain decisions he always made sure that she knew the choice was up to her. The book was extremely corny at times, but that's not why I took away a star (I can handle corny at times I find it endearing at the very least entertaining). They made a point to highlight that Thora had a very different body shape from the other girls and that made me uncomfy. Like she's v curvy and it was brought up a lot how other girls training at a young age stunted them or whatever. Like implying she had a better more desirable body fucking yuckkk. Also shay I don't like him fuck that dude actually. Idk I understand wanting to be realistic, but he should have supported Thora more. Also calling her parents on herrrrr wtfffff. That is a grown woman trust her to make her own decisions. Also the things Nikolai would say sometimes would take me out. He's so silly. He said something like his love for the circus and his love for her melding together in perfect harmony. ???? be fucking fr. Still love him tho. Wait also they kept calling her tktty piercing girl hated that. Also it's mentioned in the book she has c-cups. Idk I always find that so strange like girlll i don't need to know that. Your cup size is irrelevant. Also also Nikolai called her a melancholic slug and I thought that was funny.
