An extraordinarily detailed and long history of Christianity, full of schisms and saints and gratuitous sects. I started reading the physical book and ended up finishing it up as an audiobook; it is easier to get through the great length if one lets some of the detail wash over you. It is a worthy project to read. There also exists a DVD series the author did, but it is much less detailed and just gives you a taste of what is covered in the book.
