I liked this one pretty much actually! Finally we get a look into Assad's past and, while I thought be might actually turn out to be the series' bad guy, the one somehow behind it all (my mind is weird), he wasn't. And his past is really sad and explains a lot of the points in the series where you were wondering who this man actually is.
This book has a bit more of an 'action movie'-vibe to it, but that makes total sense, considering what kind of life Assad has led before he came to Copenhagen.

Good book! I'm looking forward to the next installment of Department Q.

Jussi imponerer - igen.

I love this series and it was interesting to get a glimpse into Assad’s past, although my heart broke about a dozen times while reading! Excited and nervous to see what comes next for the entire crew as there was a lot of personal movement for each character.

Veers off template, providing Assad a huge backstory with present complications amongst terrorists.
