I had never actually read the whole thing so it was nice to read at Christmas time, you can't go wrong with Dickens!

I've been meaning to read "A Christmas Carol" for so long and it did not disappoint! I'm not normally a fan of Dickens as I find so much of his work dismal, but this was a great story about discovering the true meaning of Christmas and finding that you can still be a good person despite years of being a curmudgeon.

Tim Curry is one of my favorite actors and he does an excellent job transporting listeners to Dickens' England through the wide variety of voices he uses in reading in this classic story. A perfect recording for a family listen to one of the best loved Christmas stories.

I found the style of writing a little difficult to read but that is just due to the age of the book.
