Yikes. The cliffhanger on this issue. It almost makes me happy that I'm a week behind in reading this issue. Almost. I've been a fan of Mariko Tamaki's work for years now, and this series is proving to be just as fascinating as her others. I'm incredibly anxious to see what happens next.
This series actually inspired me to go back and read through the entire X-23 backlog - which is quite a challenge. So I hope you appreciate just how much I'm enjoying this series.
Not only am I enjoying the characters and plot for this series, but the artwork has been stellar as well. The way they've been depicting the clones, especially the older ones...it's downright creepy. Which is spot on for what they're aiming for.
I'm really hoping this issue ended with a fake out, and what I'm afraid of happening hasn't actually happened. Ohhh this cliffhanger is going to eat away at me...
