Ah now the finale. As a major fan of series, I wish this series was even longer, but I know that even if this series was 10 books long instead of 5 that I still would have been wishing for more. I love these characters and this book broke my heart in more ways than one. First of all, it ended and that was bad enough but this is also just the final one in series and those are always bittersweet. I would give almost anything to have another book with these characters and just spend a little bit more time with them. Second of all, this series did not hold back with deaths and I have such respect for the author for that choice. Do not get me wrong, I do not love sobbing in my room with a book clutched to my chest because someone I never physically met and never existed died. However, a lot of authors these days seem to shy away from killing characters that have depth and meaning to the readers because either they recognize how attached the readers are to the character or they themselves cannot bring themselves to part with them either.
I love reading a series and all of my favorite characters make it to the end, bright, happy, and emotionally whole. But the books that end bittersweet with the characters completely and recovably changed by the events of the series just hits so much differently. Readers are devastated by the loss just as much as the character and it almost bonds reader to book even more. I remember the times I have spent sobbing at the end of a book more than I can the times where I shut it and sigh in contentment that everyone made it out alive.
That being said, I greatly respect and love a lot of the decisions Armentrout made in this and almost wish she went a little further to really hit home those feelings. This was a great series and is easily in my top 10 series of all time. I can't wait to come back to it again.

Such a good way to end the series! When I started the first book I thought I would not like it at all but it was so hyped that I had to give it a try. I ended up loving this series as much as the Acotar series! I wish Jennifer would do another spin off series with Archer and Dee because they are my favorite ever! Overall pls read this series even if you do not think you would like it!

Oh dear. I've been mentally preparing myself for the end of this series since Opal, but that never fully works does it? I loved the way JLA tied up loose ends with the other Luxen and Arum. I'm really sad to let Katy and Daemon go, and I definitely see myself re-reading this series. Jennifer L. Armentrout has amazed me with two series that I've absolutely loved. I can't wait to dive deeper into her other books.
Although I did enjoy this book I didn’t enjoy it as much as the other four. I hated the beginning, so much so I almost didn’t finish the book. The writing was amazing as always I just hated the fact that Daemon, Dee, and Dawson would run out with the other Luxen. I understand why and it was a great plot point for the story but, I just didn’t like that part. That hurt that Katy had to feel all over again. I loved that our characters had to find help with unlikely people. Hearing about what the dod was really for and how Nancy took advantage of things was really relieving. I didn’t really like thinking that it would be like that if this sort of thing happened in real life although it is a book. Working with the arem was really cool as well and that they seemed to make friends with Hunter and I really enjoyed his character. I fully enjoyed when Katy was the one to bring Dee back from the other Luxen. I thought that was a great way to get their friendship back from all the hurt they had both been through. Ethan Smith being the leader of everything was unexpected. I had known he wasn’t a good guy but, I couldn’t have thought he’d be an origin and that he orchestrated all this simply because he lost his parents. Blaming the whole human race based on what a few bad humans had done. I did love the ending of this story. Watching them all be together in Colorado planning Katy and Daemons wedding and not having to register. Also, the part where we found out Dawson and Beth named their daughter Ashley after Ash made me cry like a baby. All in all I enjoyed this book, it’s always so hard to be satisfied with an ending and I believe Jennifer did a great job. I didn’t want it to end.
What an adorable conclusion to a series! Although it was beyond cheesy some moments, this series has so much value beyond entertainment.
Oh how amazing this book was. Just the perfect way to end this series. This series would be added as one of my favorite series. It is quirky, fun, and romantic at the same time. I love all the characters in this book (especially Daemon and Katy) and you will keep falling in love with all the characters as the book progresses.

• Opposition is one of my favorite series enders ever. It was action packed and wrapped up the way I wanted it too. It was awesome. Amazing. Breathtaking. Seriously, you should read this series.
• If there is one thing I've learned about this series its TRUST NO ONE. No one is safe, ever, and that holds true in Opposition. She knows how to write twists that keep me on my toes.
• There have been a couple times in this series that Armentrout effectively rips out my heart and stops on it with things that happen to certain characters, and that happens again in Opposition. In my head what happens totally makes sense, but it broke my heart all the same.
• Daemon is one of my top ten favorite characters. Over the course of reading this series he has made me want to throw things and then immediately turn that around and make me swoon. I love how he feels about Katy and his need to protect her but also trust her at the same time. I love how inappropriate he is at times but that he balances that with legit ideas and plans for fixing things.
• Katy is still a good strong heroine who doesn't take anyone's crap, especially these invading Luxen. She smarts a little bit from what happened at the end of Origin, but still manages to stay strong for Bethany's sake. And once things really start rolling she is back in action mode, determined to stay strong and fix things (as much as one person can) for the country.
• All my favorite secondary characters are around, Dee, Dawson, Archer, Bethany, Luc, and all are part of the fight. Ok, maybe not Bethany, but there are reasons, right? There is a lot of mischievousness going on with all of them involved.
• Despite all the fighting and saving the world, Opposition is just as steamy as the previous books.
• I can't think of a single negative thing to say about Opposition other than the fact that I am sad that the series is over. I'm really going to miss Daemon, Katy and the rest of the gang!
Overall Opposition is a strong ending to a fantastic series. You won't regret reading it!
