Might be hitting a slump if I yet again can't manage to finish a 78 page novella. The first half was much more enjoyable. I wish the second part was told in the same vein. I might return to this one day.

Re-read 4/2024: bumping up from a 2 to a 3. This guy must've been high AF when he wrote this. I didn't really understand anything but in an odd way still sort of enjoyed it...? Some of the writing was quite nice. This is a novella that will require multiple re-reads for me to fully "get."

Also, what are the odds that I chose to re-read this almost exactly two years apart? Unplanned!
