Wow!
It took me weeks to get through the first 30-40% of this, the world building was intense! But once it got going I couldn’t stop reading. I found myself thinking about the story when I wasn’t reading it and I just had to know what happened!
A must for all fans of ACOTAR!
I cannot wait for the next one!
Managed to get the audio version from the library and just had to re-read! The audio is brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed it! I’d forgotten a few key points so felt like I was listening for the first time again. The narrator was great and really brought the characters to life! I would recommend this to everyone! Another 5*!

I decided to re-read this one kind of last-minute before House of Sky and Breath was released (actually, I started the day of the release but my copy was announced to ship later that week). I loved every moment, every scene, every chapter as much as the first time and made me love some characters more.
It's still a five star book for me and also one of my favourite books altogether.

Really slow beginning, but the ending made up for it. What felt like unnecessary details came back to be significant later on. The last two hundred pages were impossible to put down! I feel like I need to lower some of my other ratings on SJM books to leave room for how entertaining this was.
