the world building was so confusing, it made my brain hurt. BUT probably SJM’s best series start, no hate to ACOTAR and TOG but those first books? tough to get through. but this? impeccable a masterpiece, almost has me scared to read the rest

In the beginning of this book I found it hard to get into it, I felt very bored. However, it started to get so much better, to the point where I couldn’t put it down. This book was incredible and I loved it so much.

This has to be one of my favorite books ever. I loved ACOTAR but this hit different for me, I cried so many times and so much.
Bryce is so relatable and her grief felt so real to me. Her and danikas love, that friendship, it felt so refreshing to see a different kind of love portrayed instead of the romantic love that saves everything and everyone. I’m still feeling light and kind of euphoric from all the crying I did at the end. Absolutely loved it.

Definitely did not expect to bawl my eyes out multiple times.

Lots of twists in the book to keep you hooked all the way through.
