I was a little disappointed at the end of this series. Out of all the books, this was the most predictable. Yes, there were some plot twists, but as a reader I was left already knowing it'd be resolved at some point in the story.
There were hints regarding the crime & I was able to pick up on them immediately (i.e. the poisoning scene). I also was a little disappointed the author didn't get more creative with who Jack the Ripper was. As soon as they hinted at the H.H. Holmes theory, I lost interest. I thought it would've been fun to have a unique twist in the series like when we thought Nathaniel was the killer. That was unique and original. Knowing that it was H.H. Holmes was just kind of disappointing to me.

Loved it but definitely less than the first three. The reveal at the end kind of ruined the first book for me. But thomas and audrey rose forever ❤️

I swear these books were written for me. I love everything about them and am sad the journey has come to an end.

Final de saga que me ha flipado, cerrando toda la saga, con muchos puntos de emoción, de acción, de terror y sobrenatural

So disappointed, the murder plot was only the last end of the novel. Audrey and Thomas’ s romance took over most of the book and some plot twist we’re not necessary and felt unreal. The reveal of the murderer was... anticlimactic to say the least. It’s one of my favourite series and what a disappointing ending honestly. I still enjoyed the writing style but maybe in those last 4 years I outgrew the story ?
