  • The world. It was wonderful to dive back into the world of Darkest London. I also like that we got to see more of the sisters and the dynamics between them, setting up well for the third book in the series.
  • Daisy and Ian's relationship. Pretty key for a romance book, right? But, I did really enjoy their dynamic! It was feisty and fun, yet also handled some of the darker elements well. I thought the character development was also well done!
  • The steam. Personally, when I read romance, I want really well written sex scenes. The steamier, the better, for me. This did not disappoint!

  • Me? I'm honestly not sure what it was exactly about this one, but I didn't enjoy Moonglow as much as I was completely enamored by Firelight. Granted, I did still read this book until almost 3 in the morning when I first started it, so obviously it wasn't bad by any means! I still quite enjoyed it, but there was just something that made it not a favorite.

For me, I'd give Moonglow 3 gems! It didn't hold up to the first book in the series, but it was by no means a bad book. I'm very anxious to read the third one, though, since it's a little different, in terms of the "traditional" romance plot I tend to read. Instead of strangers-to-lovers, we're looking at lovers-to...not necessary enemies, by any means! But, a shaken romance that must be rekindled, if it can!
