Ryder and Juliette have known each other since childhood, their families are tight nit, Ryder and her brother are best friends, but these two have kept their distance and only looked never touched. The tension and attraction have always been there, yet they both keep away for many reasons. Ryder is that playboy hockey player but when it comes to Juliette, he falls head over heels even when he tries not to. Juliette is smart, beautiful, and everything he wants and until fate throws him his chance to go for her, he’s exuded indifference towards her. Juliette and Ryder’s chemistry is off the chart hot, and they both have all the feelings yet are scared to express them. These two may have been opposites but they are perfect for each other and balance the other out. I loved it all and want more from the other characters in the story.

Rating amended after reading 'The Deal' by Elle Kennedy - 3 down to 2, this book is point blank plagiarism.

Enjoyable and easy to read but I found a lot of the side characters quite jarring and unlikeable. Just because we're writing from a male POV doesn't mean we need to be so gross about women. Also, it was a bit 'not like other girls-y'.
