EMILY RATH IS TRYING TO TAKE ME OUT WITH THESE CHARACTERS!!!! & ALSO FCK TROY & BEE CAUSE I LOATHE THEM. It took me a few months to pick up this book because I loved Pucking Around so much I feel like nothing could have ever topped it. BUT this book was just as good as the first one. I loved Tess & Ryan so much & God did I wanna stomp on Troy & Bee. This book made me feel real feelings for the characters which is kind of hard sometimes for books. Idk how Rath keeps doing the damn thing but I'm here for it!

The first book is amazing...this one topped that.

Full disclaimer: Please check your trigger warnings going into this book there is a very intense DV scene that may not be suitable for all readers to experience. I will say there is mainly just one scene and you'll know it when it comes. You can skip to the end of the chapter if you feel the intensity of it is too much and you will not miss any plot information.

I'm not going to lie in the first book I wasn't much of a Tess girl, but I am 100& on the Tess train.
She is such a dynamic character that has overcome such a hardship and deserves every ounce of happiness.
Ryan the counterpart is the epitome of what a cinnamon roll/golden retriever boy should be. He is funny, sentimental, and absolutely 'devourable' in the bedroom.
These two had such chemistry and I'm not always one to enjoy the intimacy before the emotions but honestly it works so well for their story line I had no issues with it.
The growth throughout this book was top notch and seeing the original Price Family again had me feeling so giddy.
We also were introduced to the next installment book plot and man....I am SOOOOO excited to see where that story is going to take us.
Overall Emily Rath has crushed it again with another truly spicy/emotional/delightful read.
She is quickly becoming and auto-buy author for me.

I've had the physical copy of this one since LIT back in October, plus it's on Kindle Unlimited. I've wanted to read it since it came out because Pucking Around was one of those books I was lucky to read right before the hype went off for it. Seeing it blow up like it did was so fun, but I never got around to picking up Pucking Wild. I even reread Pucking Around back in October, planning to pick up Pucking Wild right afterward, and I still didn't do it. But I finally plunged back into this world and loved Tess, but flippin' Ryan was AMAZING! I couldn't get enough of this one from the second I picked it up, but I loved it so much. Plus, it was a reverse age gap, and I know these aren't a new thing or even that rare, but I've read 2-to 3 of them since really getting into KU and to see it play out. Anyway, you don't need to read Pucking Around first. Still, I recommend doing that because Rachel and the guys pop up so much in this book. I loved seeing them, but if you read this book first, you won't have that connection to them or really know how they ended up where they are. I cannot wait for the next book to come out now, and I really need to read Pucking Ever After Vol 2 now! But the only issue I ran into in this one was the ex. He should've been more villainous. Don't get me wrong, he was terrible whenever he appeared, but he was more annoying than anything and really played on the emotional side.
