A very cool and interesting my premise- the whole dream walker/alien/world rifts piqued my interest but I had a hard time getting through it. I started the book wanting the spice too, but even that didn’t hold my attention

There was a lack of world building at the start that kept me unsure of the stories trajectory throughout the first half. I am unable to DNR books so I powered through. Ultimately, I have a vague idea of what the world would look like but overall enjoyed not knowing where the main characters would end up. The ending felt a bit rushed but the book has great potential to grow into a wonderful series.

I did enjoy this book, Its not as good as the crossfire series but a nice enjoyable read, Near the end we got a glimpse of what might be really going on and looks extremely interesting. To be honest tho this is mainly some good old smutt with some very handsome guardians thrown in.
The reason i'm giving a 3.5 is just some really strange behavior i couldn't get my head around.
1) Aiden shows up at door a complete stranger in Lyssa's eyes but she lets him in and promptly shags him because her cat likes him and she has a feeling....
2) Her colleagues reaction to said stranger showing up at the door doesn't seem concerned only she wishes it would happen to her, its o.k though the cat trusts him.
Also the book's couple fall to easily together no obstacles making the hot scenes a bit repetitive.
but the characters attraction to each other is fan yourself hot.
I'm really interested in the elders and such drastic physical changes to become one, some great mystery there want to find out what happens and why.

Different plot but enjoyed! So bummed to find out the 3rd book is not written and there isn’t a plan for her to write it.
