I had lowered my expectations for a sequel, especially since I absolutely adore The Sparrow. Russell delivered. I laughed, I cried (more than once), and I found myself contemplating really complicated ethical and philosophical questions. Just like its prequel, I will unstintingly recommend this. What a great way to start 2021.
