Arica weaves a narrative with the skill of her sister’s sewing. A really beautiful reflection on sisterhood, loss and illness through the lens of personal account and the history of art and theatre. This one will stay with me for a long time

i'm not going to leave a star rating, as i don't think it's appropriate for this type of work. all i can say is that it really moved me, i cried several times while reading this. arifa akbar brings us through her journey of life, and of loss, constantly questioning and reflecting. her work made me think, and feel, and think some more about so many things that hit so close to home. a stunning work
