Murder mystery isn't normally my preference in reading but I found this to be entertaining & spurred me on to keep finding out who the murdered was. Everything came together really well & I wasnt able to guess who the murderer was which was great.

This book was just so okay? It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Nothing particularly made it stand out to me.

It is very police procedural but there are so many different characters that I had a hard time tracking at first since I listened on audio. 

I don't have too many negative things to say but I also have nothing positive to say.

A solid read. A good detective story with dark undercurrents and a bunch of colourful characters. Also nice to meet a lead detective without substance issues.
