.........

daddies x dry humping šŸ¤šŸ¼ qb tyler

if there are two things that are a guarantee in a qb tyler book, itā€™s a dry humping scene with a hot dad. itā€™s always a good time and always so. fucking. hot.

avery has always had a crush on theo, her next door neighbor, best friends dad and former nfl player. he never noticed her like that until after her freshman year of college and then he couldnā€™t get her out of his head.

after dancing around each other for years, they fully act on their attraction and they begin the hottest secret relationship. he obviously doesnā€™t want to hurt his kids, especially his son who is also averyā€™s best friend. they never go into their relationship with bad intentions, they decide to make sure this is more than just a physical attraction.

i love the relationship avery and theo has. aside from only wanting the best for each other, they always showed up for each other, fell hard and fast, and were just utterly obsessed with each other.

as far as forbidden goes, this is definitely more tame for qb but that doesnā€™t make it any less hot! thereā€™s just something about the older, hot dad next door who is possessive and obsessed that makes this book just perfect. i loved everything about it and i already canā€™t wait to reread it!

šŸ„µThe Worst Kept SecretšŸ„µ

HOLY HOTšŸ„µ This was my first QB book and WOW, I. AM. A. FAN. I had the privilege of listening to it & these narrators did a PHENOMENAL job bringing this story to life.

Avery has thought her neighbor Theo was hot from the day he moved in. As time went on she became best friends with his kids Lucas and Reagan, and ignored how she looked at him. Fast forward to her graduating college and Avery still finds Theo incredibly attractive- and after a few stolen kisses in the past she knows he thinks the same about her. Theo and Avery both want to see if their relationship is more than just physical, but are afraid of telling Lucas, especially since heā€™s always had feeling for Avery.

šŸ„µBest friendā€™s dad
šŸ„µAge gap
šŸ„µForbidden
šŸ„µTaboo
šŸ„µRetired football player

 (Audio & Book Review)
Theo and Avery are quite a pair. Theo is Avery's best (guy) friend's dad -- but she's never been into her best friend although her best friend has pined after her. Avery comes back from college and Theo can't keep his hands off of her. This book is spiiiicccyy and I'm here for it.
The tension is high but the overall drama is pretty low.
As for the narrators - Dane Anderson and Maggie Thompson -- I haven't heard either of them before but definitely enjoyed them. Dane had that nice "daddy" husky vibe going and Maggie was youthful sounding without sounding TOO young. I definitely think you should try this book in audio!

one thing about QB, sheā€™s gonna write a freak nasty book and i will eat it up every time, throw in the already messy family dynamic and drama, WITH the fact that our FMC is sleeping with her best friendā€™s father??? yeah, iā€™m sat

may i just say, i will always love that QB writes such bold FMCā€™s! like yes, take what you want girl! avery was of course no different, the way she would tell theo what to do and when?? as she should ā€¼ļøbut then theo on the other hand?? that fucking mouth on him! lord have mercy, i need that manā€¦. severely

along with getting our very loved QB writing and hot MCs, the side characters in this book really took the cakešŸ˜i donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever adored side characters more, everyone was flushed out, funny as hell, and truthfully, i need everyone to get a damn book!

QB will always be a top author for me and i canā€™t wait to see what she puts out next

I'm not sure what drugs QB Tyler puts in her books but im ADDICTED. All HAIL THE QUEEN OF TABOO! This book was pure perfection and spicy with a sprinkle of daddy issues which were all here for. Age gaps are definitely my least favorite trope but when QB Tyler writes it ...its my favorite. I LOVED Theo and Avery's story . At one point I was like PLEASE get caught I just want these two to be together out in the open.

The Worst Kept Secret is a fun, fast, and steamy best friendā€™s dad romance. Q.B. Tylerā€™s books are always so fun. I really liked Avery because she was sassy + such a tease. She was going to get what she wanted no matter what. Just delightful. Theo is obviously a the swoon worthy, single dad, next door that romance lovers eat up. And a former NFL star!?! I was hooked from that first chapter.

Woo boy!!! The audio!!! It was freaking hot to say the least šŸ„µ There was a hint of duet narration in a couple moments throughout the book that made it feel very lively. Definitely recommend going the audio route when it comes out for a fun, funky and fresh time!!

Thank you to Forever and Always PR and Q.B. Tyler for providing me with an ALC in exchange for my honest thoughts <3

Thank you @qbtyler.author for allowing me to listen to an advanced listener copy of The Worst Kept Secret.

Avery and Theo are the cutest couple. We have Avery fighting for their relationship but also understanding the issues that will arise if the secret gets out. Theo is a complete daddy both in the sheets and in the streets. Theo is a retired football star who puts his family first.

2024 - I will read more QB. I always forget that I absolutely love her writing, the dirty talk šŸ„µ, and of course the stories. Where does one start?
