I got two words for this book, daddy issues. BUT I absolutely loved it! This book broke me. I’m at a loss for words. I loved Cecelia with Dominic and Sean, but they had nothing on Tobias. This series is turning into a favorite no matter how toxic and sad. I feel like so much happened in this book. Also, audio was incredible 🤌🏻

I was addicted to this story! I did not expect this book to go in this direction - I could not stop reading. This was quite emotional, I loved it but it was very toxic. Readers be warned.

I love Tobias. I cannot be anyone else for Cecelia. BUT… I CANNOT FORGIVE HIM FOR TATTOOING HER WITHOUT CONSENT! That was the most fucked up shit ever and I am SEETHING it was him all along. I don’t know why that triggered me so much but I thought it was such a violation of her body <\spoiler>

Exodus starts out where Flock ends. Enemies to lovers.
She spent half of the book in a toxic relationship with Tobias and then the second half grovelling and begging for Tobias to take her back, blowing up her present life in the process. What I find really frustrating is her complete lack of growth and maturity. Six years later and she is still acting the same way she did when she was 19. Yes, she is pretty badass when it comes to her work, but she becomes a puddle around anyone in the Ravenhood. You would think that within that 6 years, she could have done some work on herself instead of just shoving it all down and ignoring it.
I appreciate that we finally figure out what the hell has been going on and get some background to the Ravenhood.

I think this book was worse for me than the first one because I knew the main character would grow up and had hopes for some actual maturity or self reflection or some kind of emotional growth but I didn't get that. Also it was WAY too long.

This book is so random and full of schlock, the random gang/mob thing doesn't make sense it feels like the author just inserted things out of her imagination without doing any research on how things actually work.

The moral code these characters have is bizarre and full of conspiracy theories, the fact that a lot of fans of this series find it inspiring is alarming. Yes crony capitalism is obviously bad but that's not really what they're fighting against in this book. Honestly, I don't think the author even knows what they're fighting against.

The main character in this book throws herself at anyone who makes her feel alive and thinks it's love, which is toxic af and I see how the author is kiiiind of trying to portray that, but it's also pretty clear we're supposed to find it romantic. It's shameful and embarrassing the way this woman uses people and toys with them, but it's equally ridiculous how they all treat her. Every guy she meets is in love with her for some reason and also feels like they're entitled to her. It's very disturbing in my opinion.

The author couldn't even do math because apparently Cecelia and Tobias are 10 years apart in age but 15 years apart in birth years.

Ultimately this book was way too long, super annoying, mildly offensive, and a great example of lazy writing. Could be a fun read for people who like reading shitty books for fun, but this is a bad book.
