This fucking books wrecked me! I've never cried so hard and felt so much for fictional characters, in absolute bits!

Devastating. Gut-wrenching. Traumatizing.

I went into this series totally blind. That was a mistake for me. I know some people like for books to tear out their hearts, but that just is not my jam. The second I read, “we love rainy days,” my heart fractured. I knew what was coming and that that line would stay with me forever. It’s been a year and my mind still drifts to Dom and this book all the time.

I will never get over this.

And PS. WHO is reading One Last Rainy Day?? Masochists! I can’t go through the pain again in MORE detail.

Kate Stewart... You are a motherfucker. (iykyk)

How can someone love a book so much and hate it all at the same time!

If you are looking for your heart to be ripped out of your chest and to keep coming back for more... This book is for you!  ♥

Audiobook via Audible.

The narrators of this series did SO well! They fit exactly how I imagine the characters.

At the beginning of this book i had that feeling like from New Moon where my heart hurts, my stomach was dropped and I couldn’t see any light. Then the book literally mentioned that feeling.
Less than halfway through the book, I realized I’m susceptible to Stockholm syndrome.

There are things in this book I will never forgive the author for. I haven’t cried because of a book in years, and I found myself boohooing because “We love rainy days, don’t we baby?” 😭😭 Like, shut the fuck up. That wasn’t necessary. Dom was endgame (so was Tobias, but still!)
I’m also a little upset Sean’s life went the way it did.

Now the end… she dreamed of a driveway lined with Bradford pears… Kate Stewart.. my girl… have you ever SMELLED a Bradford pear tree?! It’s fish and rank 🐱. No one in their right mind would want that…

All this to say, I loved the book, hate what Kate did to Dom and will never forgive her, but I will be buying physical copies of these books.

“I should expect and demand more for myself.” - yes, yes you should

This was an emotional rollercoaster. It was painful,  heartbreaking, frustrating, and toxic. I wanted Cecelia to stand up for herself so much more, but I think part of it is that she’s so young and so lost in everything/everyone.

I cannot in good conscious rate this any higher than the first book (Its ENTERTAINING but I'm pissed)

I have so much to say and I don't even know where to start UGH

why is Cecelia so..... The way she is? Why did she have to fuck Tobias??? I just don't understand the thought process

I thought Dom would be the choice tbh but then the author was like "erm actually ☝
