this has to be like 4.8 or like 5 stars because i was so bloody invested and i cried so many times for some reason?
no but like the world building is so good. i absolutely love all the war politics etc, the way everything introduced earlier connected to each other, the FOUND FAMILY of it all, the incredibly high stakes and the way everyone banded together like that's my soft spot... like tell me why i was team stryga like HAHA, #carver slay, like the list goes on. don't really have the words to make it make sense. but i enjoyed this immensely and it really didn't feel like 700 pages i just ate it up. i'm so glad i gave this series a chance after acotar which was good, but didn't really grip me, because #2 and #3 are absolutely amazinggggg and literally what makes fantasy so good. like a new world with really cool elements and hope and found family and cool powers and really interesting characters (with different powers and vibes and like "aesthetics" based on location) YUUUUP! still dk how i feel about the mor lore drop tbh like i love the rep but it feels a bit convenient... idk we'll see. i WAS thinking that there's no WAY all these bitches are straight. also the way nobody died like bro i was getting really scared for azriel lmao. also i was legit going to kill someone when i thought amren was evil for a split second... ok i think that's all i have to say - side note why tf is the nesta book so long???? i'll get to it. but yep loved this and i get why people love it and i just love an epic high stakes battle in a fantasy world like i ate this up!!! thanks em for letting me borrow ... me finishing really quickly for once 😏
