I really enjoyed this book! The writing was mysterious without being confusing and clear without being obvious. The characters were well-developed and easy to understand who they are and why.
The killer was so obvious because there was only one adult. It seemed far fetched that a teenage student would have committed the murder, so I guessed right away.
I enjoyed the feminist overtones throughout the book to remind readers that not all women are damsels in distress. I liked the complication of toxic masculinity by showing not all men are defaulted to strong and protective. Those parts were natural 21st-century conversations about gender equality.
