I do enjoy a cheesy festive read at this time of year so picked this one up in the library. It was a quick, fun read and I genuinely didn’t want to put it down.
The characters were quite endearing, although Sarah did conveniently have a decent amount of babysitters to enable her to go on dates with Matt at the drop of a hat. I liked the ‘lawyer loses job and ends up as shopping centre Santa’ story arc and found the book to be quite funny and engaging. I did pick up on a good few grammatical and spelling errors - poor editing/proof reading?
I flew through this though and really enjoyed it.

Ensiksi! Ihanaa, että kirjassa on päähenkilönä nimenomaan mies ja toisekseen aivan ihana kirja. En yleensä niin fiilistele tälläisiä kirjoja, mutta tarina on kirjoitettu niin hyvin, henkilöhahmot on aitoja ja inhimillisiä, eikä tätä ole pilattu turhan suurellisella draamalla. Tätä lukiessa tulee hyvälle mielelle. Tai siis kuunnellessa, kuuntelin äänikirjana ja toimi erittäin hyvin siinä formaatissa!
