Few funny parts but main character is just not likeable. Almost didn’t finish. Liked many by the author just not this one.

Another brilliant read from Portia!

Roxie thinks she's got the perfect relationship with Mark... Until she has to meet his family.

Imagine all of the worst possible scenarios that could happen if you had to meet your fiance's family for the first time....they're all in this book!

The harder Roxie tries to bond with them, the more she seems to alienate herself, and being snowed in inside their freezing cold mansion doesn't really help. As they wait for the snow to thaw, Roxie has to decide whether she and Mark are actually such a good fit after all.

A brilliant read that moves along at a fast pace, with humour, spicy scenes and plenty of laughs! Would recommend!

I hated everything about Mark’s family, how Roxie just put up with most of it, and how oblivious Mark was!

With humour and fresh dialogues Portia MacIntosh will make us remember that meeting the parents in law for the first time is never easy; expectations, nerves and ex-partners are always present... lucky for Roxie she has Mark on her side, because the rest of the family dordn't see their relation with very good eyes!
Roxie will meet not only his parents in law, their daughters and family, Bea will be there too, Mark's ex-girlfriend, who will try to re-conquest him with all of her powers!
Portia has made an spontaneous book that will make drop a few tears with all your laughs, and Roxie will give you some good ideas to spice a little bit your romantic life!
The perfect present for your recently engaged friend or just because you want a good laugh!
How's your relation with your parents in law?
