Shrek would not approve of this.

First and only time I'm giving 0 stars on storygraph (for 0 effort). I'd give minus stars if I could. Also first time I'm seeing a book on here with an average of less than three stars (deserved) 😂

I'm not mad about the fact that this is basically Shrek fanfiction with changed names (after all, Shrek is life, Shrek is love 💚). I'm not mad either that this is pwp. What I will not forgive is that this feel like something a 15-year old has written on Wattpad in a few h urs yet is riddled with some weird toxic traits I hope no 15-year old is writing about. It was comically bad, which may be its only redeeming quality - it did make me laugh sometimes.

In conclusion: Ogres have layers but this book doesn't.

Okay but wait I loved this book 😂 Only read it for my book club this month… was a little hesitant going into it but by the end I was ready to fall in love with an ogre. Lmao!!!!!!!! I will say the play on the names from shrek had me LOLing. It was such a fun and quick read that had a tonnnnn and tonnnn of spice but still had a decent plot. The plot twist? Shooketh. Never saw it coming.

It was my first time reading a kindle novella & can’t wait to read more!!!!
