This is a good book. Honestly! I have read this book & it's 'actually' awesome. It's not exactly a horror story, it's a mystery type story. But I like it anyway :)

This book was fun although it read like "New Year's Party" (published about a year after this one) with all the pranks and mentions of pranks, and sometimes felt like the first Friday the 13th movie ( a film I absolutely despised. Sorry, not sorry). But R.L. Stine painted some of the best word pictures here for a YA teen horror, and it has one of the best "kill scenes" so far in these books. These are one of the "Fear Street Super Chillers" that felt like it benefitted from being supersized and also it had a really good plot twist towards the end. Not the one with the main killer though, the other one.

a throwback to my teenage years
Read this as a teen and it occasionally crosses my mind, so I picked it up again. Sort of ridiculous, but sort of terrifying.

I felt like some of the literary devices and the descriptions in this book were kinda un-needed,a nd I really didn't care for some of the plot twists
