This book was great!

Raider has become my favorite of the brothers. He’s just such a sweetheart with such a pure heart. I love him so much! The plot of the book was decent but i was 100% invested in the romance.

Definitely recommend

I didn't enjoy this book. The storytelling was childish, YA level. Being this far into a series, it felt a bit like being talked down to, having long exposition scenes to explain plot points. None of the characters make sense. There's no reason, for example, for their enemies to always tell them the truth, especially when that enemy has been taken prisoner.

I honestly don't know who Raiden is. He's written so simply, in such two dimensions, that he had less character depth than basically every other character. I get that he's a himbo, but even himbo's have thoughts. He has none. Absolutely no thoughts or opinions about anything. He's just a golden retriever who's hungry and likes to cook. That's it.

As for the plot, I'm extremely interested. It still feels predictable and like they're working for the real bad guys. Except I don't think Osborn has the sophistication to flip the narrative in one book. It's starting to feel like the plot really is as simple as it's being presented. For a book with such little romance, I'd expect at least a thought-out plot.

Raiden was honestly very sweet and very precious. I loved his good-natured obliviousness and unwavering selflessness. It was pretty much impossible not like the guy, even if he was a bit dense.
Titan, however, was unfortunately kind of bland and I can’t say I have any major opinions about him.

The romance between them progressed rather easily, and I even found it to be a little boring. I mean, they were definitely cute together, but it just didn’t do a whole lot for me. Nothing much happened between them.

The plot itself was also not particularly special. Half of this book was spent on either cooking food or eating food, which truly was not the most interesting thing imaginable. The rest of the story also felt a little inconsequential.

Overall this was vaguely entertaining, but it was also a bit blah.

'Sons of the Fallen' series:
1. Galen - 2.5 stars
3. Daman - 4.5 stars
4. Gray - 3.5 stars
5. Bellamy - 3.0 stars
6. Raiden - 2.5 stars
7. Alastair - 3.0 stars

I love Raiden, he's my favorite character but Titan wasn't an interesting one... It was an addictive and good book anyway and I want to hug Kallias ❤️
