As with all of this series, it was cute, sexy, full of mentions of tasty sweets and tingling sexual tension. Such a fun listen!

## Tropes
-Sweet sweet romance
-Fae+human

## 📖 My Thoughts
This story was adorable. She was a once bitten naïve but old fae trying to put down roots. He was an intelligent usually successful with the ladies worker studying something where she lived. There was many a miscommunication/misunderstanding but it was stretched out and led to some sweet moments

## ⚠️ Triggers
-Acephobia/Arophobia
-Toxic relationship

This is a cute addition, but it does not really add anything to the world.

Love can make plants thrive!!!! This was a cute, quick listen that was just perfect to enjoy while working outside. It had lots of cute romance with struggles to make it a bit more interesting. It didn't have any of the embarrassing sexual situations that would have me running to the iPod to skip before little ears heard. The story gave insight into the how the rift is growing, influencing those around it. League is bringing more people to the Bayou while other people are moving to the area as well. You know there is more love and adventure coming. YAY!!!

Oh and can I just say that listening to Amanda Ronconi narrate Molly Harper's books never gets old.

7/1/2019 Listened to this audio again but this time with the husband during a coastal trip. We laughed so hard we missed our turnoff.

04/12/2020 The ebook became available and I had to buy it. There is nothing better than reading the words the author put to paper. It always makes the book more special.

Interesting characters, fascinating worldbuilding, and a fun little romance. I was a little confused about the use of the word "huldr" to describe a tree nymph, but the in-story reasons for the misconception were enough to satisfy me, for sure. :)

I'd recommend a minimum age of 16 for readers, as there is more profanity and discussions of physical intimacy than I'm really comfortable with.

This story reminded me in tone of a combination of Ben Aaronovitch's Peter Grant books if they ran into Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series and picked its pockets.
