Book 2 of this series has me remembering my first crush...wow, that is a long time ago, but I can still feel that love today! CM Seabrook has captured this feeling in Tempting Irish. Remembering Owen from book 1, he was coming off a bad head injury and was not yet himself. Now Bree comes into his life things and his whole life is turned upside down. This girl has had a crush on Owen since she was a preteen, long before Wild Irish hit the charts. She has come back to Ireland to seek her roots and see Owen, hoping to rekindle that feeling and flee her past. These two from the start have an amazing chemistry, and the sweetness is beyond compare. Seabrook is able to capture the feeling of love, the angst of the unknown and meld it into a wonderfully fulfilling story. The emotional pull of this couple will have you from chapter 1! It's also a lot of fun to catch up with the rest of the ensemble, Emer and Aiden, Killian and Delaney and feel the strong bond these people have together.

Kyle Maraglio continues his narration of the story. I love his Irish accent, and enjoy his narration. I do wish he used more of a woman's voice for Bree, and sometimes his differentiation is not clear between characters, but for the most part, his narration is clear, well paced and enjoyable.

This was such a great book! Owen and Bree are eventually great together, but you know there is a long road to get there. Bree has a lot of issues, and you can't really blame her with the things that she has been through. I do think that even after everyone tries to welcome her back, she is still too stubborn for her own good. Owen has to figure out that he has room in his inner circle for one more, and that he wants to spend his future with Bree. It was also good to catch up with everyone from the first book. I can't wait to read whatever comes next from this author!

OMG !

This book has everything ! Strong an multi layered characters, with deep feelings and life scars.
Trust issue, a common past, and an undeniable attraction.

I LOVED reading it, and like any other C.M Seabrook book couldn't put it down.
Once again I loved the rich background and the other characters

And once again I can't wait for the next book !

Do you remember your first crush? Do you remember how you felt when you saw them again after so long? Were there still butterflies? Well, my reaction to my own reunion wasn’t as sweet as Bree’s but it was definitely memorable. Let’s just say that he DID NOT get better with age. Sorry boo boo. But seriously, Bree’s first encounter with an older Owen maybe wasn’t on the up-and-up, but it was no less sweet. I loved seeing first crush grow into first love, on both their parts. And the music that these two created together? Smashing! I don’t want to give away the whole plot, but the author gave us steam, romance, family, and so much sweetness that I’m wondering why the heck it took me so long to read one of her books. I couldn’t get enough of the characters using ‘ye’ instead of ‘you’ and imagining the Irish brogue that characterized Owen. With just a little bit of angst to keep things interesting, this turned out to be quite an entertaining piece of work.
