It was nice to know Levana's story. I really got to know her more and, I hate to say this, I may even pity her. Not sympathize, pity. If it wasn't for a certain event in her life, Levana wouldn't have been the villain we know her now. Maybe she would have? But so far everything that she did was because of her past. And I pity her. Don't know if this is a good or bad thing? I like my villains as irredeemable as possible but for Levana I think it fits.
Such a nicely written book. This author is great at developing characters and I really liked the complexity given to Levana by learning her back story. She's still completely evil but knowing this material adds depth to her actions in the other books. Now the long and horrible wait for Winter to come out this fall!

More of a 4.5. I've done it! One more book down in the Lunar Chronicles series!! Honestly I do think this has prepared me a lot better for when I start Winter again. Highly recommended reading this before Winter so you understand why she is so crazy.

ME HA GUSTADO MUCHÍSIMO. Ha superado muchísimo mis expectativas. Así de primeras no me apetecía nada leérmelo, pero me ha parecido súper interesante. Súper recomendable.
