1. Cry or scream or both! I almost wanted to scream majority of the story from anger or sympathy towards the mfc…
2. Scowl, roll your eyes and give out bursts of “are you kidding me?!” And “Seriously?!”
Sadly I was #2, I wanted to do #1 but I was in too much shock…
Now for a little spoilers…
The fact this heifer if I may call her that, played the “Woe is me” and a desperate lovesick crybaby screaming “love me!”
I get it she did not have a good relationship with her family and especially with her manipulative sister, but the thing you swore you would never do became her in the flesh rather she wants to believe or accept it…I was enraged and not sympathetic after she accused her “friend” for being MIA, but NEWSFLASH! When your world, best friend, and love of your life passes away…yeah it’s normal to morn for them..and the whole deal of having your Man crush Monday say he has a choice…but then, press for him to say yes regardless of what he feels is proper…
Then the whole cat and mouse situation between her and her sister’s game show called “How high are we willing to go?” Was getting a bit too much especially when the Queens whole argument of her sisters new relationship was she wasn’t upset she was with a guard, but the fact she was ready to broadcast it…that’s your weird flex??
After years of torment you go to your sisters old room and break a mirror and when you have a bad argument after setting up a marriage to fail because you loved him, but didn’t give him time to properly grieve.. yeah, how can anyone love, respect or trust you…and after 10 years you decide if he won’t love you then hire someone to kill him and that same person you killed after they helped you…glad the child wasn’t around and wouldn’t trust you to be a good “mother” as far as I could chuck this book at her face…yes bad things happen to both good and bad people, but how we respond to them makes us to be better or worse individuals grrrrrrrrrrr
That’s why I sadly give this book a 2…just was fed up to the point I almost dnf it…I can now say that because after reading all that…yeah, no wonder she isn’t everyone’s favorite. And not satisfied at all ..Miss Meyers well done you definitely gave a villain a true origin story, whew!

Levana is insane! This was really well done though, and it was interesting to see Levana's obsessions increase. I'm glad this story revealed more about Winter's father.

I was thinking it would be a Malicifent-type plot, and I was close! Does Levana have the right to be evil? No. But I kinda understand how she turned out to be such a downright evil being. I loved this book more than I expected. I have a mixed feeling for this book. After reading first half of the book, I thought levana was not that bad but second half of the book .. Boooom!!! That's Levana hahaha.
