I just couldn’t continue.
It’s not bad, but it isn’t good. I’d compare it to a very cheesy romcom fantasy.
So when I’d want to read something that doesn’t have much genuine detail or writing.
My biggest thing that made me just not want to continue was the constant sexual innuendo. I don’t usually mind such things, but it was every single page! I picked the book up because it said it was clean, and for me that is usually just kissing and maybe a fade to black (although I usually prefer stories without fade to black and remain with only kissing. I don’t mind a tasteful fade to black) but even when there were no fade to black and there was barely any kissing, the constant sex jokes or something else, was just to much for me.
From what I read, it’s a solid 3 out of 5. Enjoy it if you’re looking for some pretty cheesy romcom level book, but don’t go in with high hopes.
Most if not all the dudes whom are in relationships within the books that are supposed to be great guys, are! I love furgus and Duncan was super sweet. The woman however, is what grated on me. (Except Kenna and Fiona. But they have a brain)
