My eyes have been completely opened through this book! It not only deep-dives into the lives of women in the Gospels, but it also analyzes the beautiful character of Jesus and his love and respect for women. A 10/10 read for anyone who wants a thorough analysis of Jesus and the women He interacted with!

Loved this biblical recounting of Jesus through the eyes of women. Includes great Bible study questions for you or a group.

Solid.
As a not-woman I surely miss some of the depth of the radically dignifying and beautiful ways Jesus relates to women, but Rebecca nonetheless paints a wonderful picture of our remarkable Jesus; good news for women AND for me.

More historical (rather than reflective) than I thought it would be despite the prayer/discussions points at the end of each chapter. However, I really enjoyed reading the accounts of women in the Bible by a Christian female author. Such a unique and seemingly unexplored (Mclaughlin’s footnotes showed that this topic has been researched, but it’s not talked about enough!) perspective of the Bible.
