This is one of my favorite books because the coming-of-age in which the protagonist faces, mirrors the story of my life when I was trying to "make-it" in corporate America. The story is real and real-amusing at the same time!
adventurous funny lighthearted

More like a 2.5 Stars. I loved the movie and Anne Hathaway’s character but I hated how ungrateful Andrea was in the book. More thoughts to come in my full review on my blog: https://sherlockianbooklover.wordpress.com/

I was only reading this book so i could do an english assignment. I was bored the whole time readding it. I didn't care bout any of the charcaters or the plot. None of it was interesting or enjoyable to me, i couldnt give less of a shit abt andy's(?) corprate job or her boss.

Before reading the devil wears prada i knew nothing abt the plot except for the name. I initially thought that the story was about a litteral demon or the actual devil coming up from hell to earth and he tries to blend in and wears the most expensive clothes or smth. I was more interested/invested in my assumptions of the book than the book itself.

(Also i ended up deciding to read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy instead for my assignment.)

Watch the movie instead. It's exponentially better.

I laughed out loud several times

completely different from the movie, which follows a feel-good standard movie format. This book is more of a look into abusive relationships. the writing really captures how the victim gets sucked in, and how stressful and all-consuming that experience is.
