soooo boring and Andy is incredibly unsufferable!!!!

I liked this book quite a bit. I saw the movie (many times) before reading the book, but it's plenty different enough to keep you entertained even if you've seen the movie. I liked the brutal honesty about how much she purposely ripped off he company and squandered time- an element not in the film at all. Joyous 'guilty' reading

It's not a bad book exactly, but Andy is one of the most annoying characters I've ever read. She's just as shallow and snobby as the fashion people she looks down on.

But if you want an easy read, this isn't the worst.

2/5

Not often that the movie adaptation of a book actually ADDS depth to a story but here we are! Thought it would be a fun beach read to escape reality and read some bubblegum shit but the main character is so unlikable I had a hard time having much fun with this one. Would have rather just watched the movie again.

I've seen the movie countless times but haven't read the book. With the newest book coming out, I decided to go back to the original book to catch up. But I may skip #2. I think I have enough background for book #3 which is getting lots of buzz!!

I love the movie. And I LOVE the movie, but the book is much more complex. Miranda is way more awful and Andy is a whore
