I usually avoid these kinds of books like the plague (I am a huge snob, after all), but sometimes their popularity reaches such a fever pitch, I feel like I have to read them. That's certainly what happened with The Devil Wears Prada. I didn't hate it. It was funny enough, and the characters were definitely colorful. I can't say I loved it or was especially challenged by it, but it was a nice summer read.

great summer read! made me want to see the movie again. :)
This was definitely one of those rare times where the movie was better than the book.
this was another one of those books that i enjoyed a lot in the middle of reading it, but the main character frustrated me to no end, and the ending left me going, "WHAT? that's how it ends?"
DNF….i can’t even hate read this it’s so offensively bad
I really enjoyed this book for what it was. I typically read a lot of thriller/suspense type books, so this was a huge and welcome change of pace for the summer. It’s “light”and was a perfect read for walking to class or on the train.
