Another great edition to the Alex Cross series. There are two parallel lines of cases in this story with some interesting twists and turns between the two. Alex is his normal persona in the story and there is a very personal side to the outcome of the story. I've read every Alex Cross story in the series (this was book 20!) as well as the rest of James Patterson's series and I'm rarely disappointed. There were a few years that the content seem to lag a bit and not as much edge to the stories, but I thought he was definitely on the mark for this one.

Well done and I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Oh Alex, I wish I could forget about your series.

It has been a while since I dove into another book from this series but I figured I needed to try it again. Enter Alex Cross, Run. In it, we are still with out crime fighting super agent Alex Cross. He has a ton of freaking cases going on at the same time. Well, maybe 3 isn't that maybe.. but I feel like it might be in his case? Not sure.

For me, yes.. way too many.

Since we had 3 cases to follow, I honestly didn't find any of them interesting. I mean, one had some potential but ugh.. Alex just annoys the crap out of me. Other than that, I'm glad I got another book done from this series. Maybe I'll eventually find one that I like.

Better than some of the other Alex Cross novels.

Better than the last few

This one had a lot going on. And the story doesn’t really end like you expect in one aspect. This one seemed a little more original than the past few Alex Cross novels.

Completely forgettable.

First of, I got this book through a Goodreads giveaway.
I've never heard about the "Alex Cross" series or even James Patterson before. (Then again I just started reading seriously this year, so pardon me.)

I just jumped right in with no expectations at all. And boy was it a fun ride.

This book has everything I could wished for in the crime/detective genre. A full packed story with more than one murder, gruesome deaths, pretty girls and and and.

I got attached to the characters pretty fast and the pages turned themselves.

The really short chapters were nice too. It felt like I would watch a tv show and every chapter is a scene.

This sure wasn't the last book I read about "Alex Cross" or from Patterson.

Three killers are at work - two linked and a third who is coming after Alex. After a fall from grace after being found in the company of underage prostitutes, former plastic surgeon to the stars and a friend go on a spree, killing and challenging each other with each new murder. Meanwhile, a woman is found dead who has recently given birth, and the killer is a man who befriends, impregnates, kills then kidnaps young vulnerable girls. In his vendetta against Alex, Alex's prospective foster daughter Ava also suffers this fate.
