Mi cuento favorito: The White Dove.

delightfully odd, exactly what i had hoped for as far as the strangeness factor. the writing itself didn’t particularly grip me, though, and i found my mind wandering a bit. still worth reading and enjoyable!

Wanted a chill slice of life but got magic realism and it’s a bit odd. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad book by any means, I just have no interest to continue because I’m not in the right mood

i read this at 3am while feeling sick and i could not follow what was going on. i’m sure that i would still not know what was going on with a clear head
this was very charming though! i love the feel of closely knit communities even if this one had a few screws loose
