Poor baby was literally a stick ! And was so shy and insecure , I felt bad when Taxia Jun treated him so bad .
3. Shi Mei the one you will never be able to hate :
The human corpse bridge was a very bad idea Hun!! But I guess we all agree that anyone in his place would have done the same !

My favorite danmei that I have read in 2021.
**SPOILERS**
Mo Ran and Chu Wanning are characters I will not forget. Being that 2HA is my first novel by Meatbun, I can definitely say that I love her style of writing a bit more than MXTX. Thankful for all the content/trigger warnings that fans put before the chapters (bless ya'll cause if I didn't know ahead of time, I would not be as prepared for all the emotional and mental stress in book 3!)
-Our main squad was amazing. Each one of them have such a unique personality. You start off thinking, "oh, another homie squad adventure into the cultivation world", but as soon as we hit book 2 and book 3, that all changes. They grow so much within themselves. Especially Mo Ran, being that he is living in the main story timeline at the age from his previous life (I know people are conflicted with the age gap, but think about it, Mo Ran's soul was the age of his previous life in his own younger body-which is not much different from what happened to WWX in MDZS when his soul goes into MXY body...LWJ is like 10+ his senior there and I didn't see people complaining about the age gap hahahaha!**EDITED, JK now that I think about WWX died in his early 20's so technically he's a youngling...oops!) Each character presented a different emotion/vibe in the story. They were all opposites but they truly complimented each other in filling in particular emotion/trait that they each lacked.
-Loved Chu Wanning's self confliction/self hate. LET ME TELL YOU. Everytime this man kept brining his self esteem and own feelings down, had my heart clenching. Given everything you learn later on, I can't help but have a soft spot for him and seeing how innocent and pure this man was. Especially as readers in which we know Mo Ran's thoughts and feelings-when Chu Wanning was thinking he was the worst person in the world, I wanted to tear the screen and run up and hug him and tell him he is worth living and loving! <3
-Butterfly town arc/lake arc/farm arc are my favorite arcs~~~
Things I don't love, but love in a sense of storytelling and Meatbun being great in telling her story and making it impactful and mentally stressing: the cannibalism....I could have done without that tbh. It was too much. I had to take breaks within arcs just to get my emotions in tact (especially with the non-con/rape, the humilation, etc). (GOD, when Mo Ran was being publicly judged, when their relationship began gossip....nope...why did you hurt me like this Meatbun?!)
Conflicted still: Mo Ran's soul changes/fusion with His Majesty. I can't decide if I liked it or not, but at the end, just like Chu Wanning said, they are both Mo Weiyu and good and bad, he is all those versions of himself.
And so...I have to learn to love him too-even though I KNOW the reasons for his development, I still find him to be d****.

Moran under the control of external factors, did horrible and wicked things in his previous life, for which he continuously suffers under the memory and guilt of it in the text , especially in regards to his treatment of Chu Wanning. I highly recommend you contemplate the tags before you read it. If you can understand this, and read the book without judgement, you'll find it quite beautiful amidst the pain and sadness.
