i gobbled this up even though it was a little cringe what can i say. kinda definition of flirting vs harassment though like omgggg asher i don’t think u can just do thattttt
the climax/stakes in this were a little much for me though a little bit too riverdale if i had to describe it. romance was cute enough though!

Great
I love how this book never made the FMC be less than what she was, she was strong, confident (even with her fears) and she was caring. The MMC was loving, protective and supportive. Even though this was a bully romance they really showed the their immediate care and support for one another throughout and I’m happy that the continued their loving games till the end.
I would’ve like to see a bit more of the other friends. Beckett was Asher’s BFF and for some reason we saw more of Marcus than him when it came to friendship support. I know it’s an Easter egg for the next book in the series but I just miss the interactions they had in book 1 where they were all a bit more connected.
Also miss how there was barely any hockey being played, it’s a dark hockey bully romance, show me some more hockey please (not just the mention of the sport but the action of it). I also wanted a love story/redemption arc for Selena, after everything she went through she kind of deserves it.

Not gonna lie, I personally don't enjoy the humiliation/bully "turn on," but I think it was very well delivered on this occasion. I dont like the dark romances where the characters stay freaking toxic till the end, I like them when theres grow as a person, when they are both mature and understand each other. Plus, the best is that it wasn't as cringe as I thought it would be. Nice job, Mila. This one was recommended to me, and it was a nice chill lecture, I will give a chance to the rest of the series.

Ok this one was a little different, so I like that Kane doesn’t make it a straight hockey romance. Enemies to lovers, fake relationship and of course there has to be a twist with the villain of the story. It broke my heart a little, and had some good spice.
