I don't want to bash this book because I feel like with a heavier edit, it would have been a spectacular and wild read. But I personally can not stand when young mmc's (19 year olds) become like James Bond. It was all too much and weird. Also, waaay too many typos to ignore. Personally, it drove me nuts because I had no idea what word the author intended to use.
Also, what was the deal with Asher's Dad? There was so much potential for his character, and it just fell flat.
That said, I was entertained, and I think this writer has great potential.

I just loved Winter and Asher as a couple ☺️☺️ Winter stood on business and let no one walk all over her. She was a real queen during the book and Asher treated her like one too. I think they were absolutely made for each other. They are totally endgame
The relationship between the FMC and MMC reminds me of Tom and Jerry. Winter and Asher bully each other but with some darkness and heat to it. Like what Asher thinks of Winter initially, Winter is a spoiled brat especially when she throws him under the bus on the day of her birthday. I honestly think that was uncalled for because Asher ended up losing his job. I don’t want to say that what Asher has done later on for revenge is right, but at the same time, I feel that if he did not do all those things, their relationship would not have deepened and escalated to something more.
My favorite scene is probably when Winter and Asher are in the closet. I can understand why Winter had trouble breathing because the closet was such an enclosed space and she was reminiscing about her younger self when she was abandoned by her favorite nanny. What made that scene so hot was when Asher kissed her and got her to calm down. And mind you, Asher is very possessive of Winter.

Ugh a bully romance truly does it for me every time! Nothing fancy with this one but love an edition to the mila kane bully romance world where everything connects to something!
Winter (19) and Asher (19)
Bully romance, rich girl/poor boy, hockey player/cheerleader, enemies to lovers, daddy issues (for both of them), fake dating, virgin FMC, suspense.
This had the worst editing and I liked it less than the previous two. (I think. It’s been a long time since I read book 1). I don’t think any of the plot twists were much of a surprise.
The bullying was intense in this one!
I found winter so annoying that she wouldn’t tell her parents she didn’t want to date Trent and wouldn’t even mention he was physically abusive to her. I hated everything that had to do with the Fitzgeralds.
9 spicy scenes- Knife play, spanking, primal play. 3🔥
Ash and Winter is Fire and ice
This is a couples story i wanted from the first time the tension between them was introduced and it did not Disappoint!
I felt Cayden and Lilly - Beckett and Eve Had Very similar stories of revenge turning into Lust - this was alot different it was more of a challenge that drew them closer - with a really Evil villain Lurking in the distance, Cayden so far Has been my Favourite Male MC, but Winter my favourite heroine she was so complex and well written.... Cant wait to get my mitts on Marcuse's book

I'd have given 4.5 but no option for that. Great storyline and development - the best in the series actually. The only downsides are that the story was a bit too long and not enough spice or well-written spice.
Absolutely loved this book!
Ms. Kane writes ott bad boys like no other. And Asher is all that and more.
I loved him. My favorite Mila man as of now.
Fabulous hockey player, artist, dirty talking, motorcycle riding tattooed sexy guy.
Who also has big dreams and seeing them through. If all those qualities don’t have you hooked.
Then the way he treats his mother will have you falling instantly in love with him.
Winter is a beautiful young lady. She lives a life of luxury. Lacks for nothing. Wears designer clothing. Lives in the most upscale neighborhood. Financially she’s set for life.
But even with all that she has, she’s reserved and cautious. And trust is a commodity she doesn’t give anyone. What freaking surprised me though is her spirit and her attitude.
That girl gives as good as she gets. And then some!
Her and Asher are the definition of polar opposites. In every sense of the word.
But the minute they meet the sparks start to ignite. And with each encounter things just keep heating up. Until the fireworks that are between them just explode. And what an explosion it is!
The tension and intensity with them is hot and steamy. And I had a front row seat for it.
Loved the plot and storyline. It’s filled with drama and action. It’s emotional and heartbreaking at times. But has the perfect blend of funny and lightheartedness to it as well.

Loved this book! I was kicking my feet and giggling multiple times from the banter and scenarios. There were a few editing errors (at least 1 typo and 1 extra word) but not so much that I was deterred from the story and overall writing.
